House Rules – Room Rental

These guidelines apply to all guests renting rooms in Casa Laranja at Ferragudo Oasis (Algarve).

By making a booking and completing check-in, these house rules become part of the rental agreement. Their purpose is to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and enjoy a relaxed and respectful stay.

1. General Information & Use of Rooms

  • The rooms are intended solely for the number of persons stated in the booking.
  • Passing the room on to third parties or subletting is not permitted.
  • External visitors are welcome by prior arrangement; overnight stays are not permitted.
  • Use of common areas by visitors must be communicated to Carmen in advance.

2. Rooms, Bathrooms & Linen

  • Please leave your room and bathroom clean, tidy and well ventilated.
  • Personal belongings and toiletries should be put away after use.
  • Hygiene products, wet wipes or other items must not be disposed of in the toilet.
  • Bed linen and towels are provided according to the booking agreement and are changed regularly.
  • Additional linen changes are possible upon request and may incur an extra charge.

3. Common Areas

The kitchen, living room, hallways, terraces, garden and pool area are shared spaces available to all guests.

  • A friendly and considerate attitude towards one another is very important to us.
  • Quiet hours: daily from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am to ensure everyone can relax.

Kitchen

  • Please leave the kitchen clean after each use:
    • Wash dishes or place them in the dishwasher
    • Wipe down work surfaces, stove and oven
    • Store your own food properly
    • Dispose of rubbish regularly
  • Please store food only in the assigned fridge compartments and cupboards.
  • Other guests’ food may only be used with prior consent.

Waste

  • Please separate waste (general waste, glass, paper, packaging).
  • Full rubbish bags should be taken to the designated bins in good time.
