For many of our guests, OÁSIS is one of those places.

In the heart of the fishing village of Ferragudo, just a few minutes from the beaches of the Algarve, you will find our small, green holiday village with five individually designed Casas, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden.

At the centre is the large swimming pool. Here, families, couples and friends spend relaxing hours, enjoy the Portuguese sunshine or end the day with a glass of wine beneath the palm trees.

Each Casa has its own character. From a cosy studio for two to a spacious holiday home for families and friends, our accommodation combines comfort and privacy with the relaxed atmosphere of OÁSIS.

We are especially pleased that so many guests return to us time and again. Some have been spending their holidays with us for many years, and some acquaintances have developed into friendships. The many positive reviews and an average rating of 4.9 stars show us that our guests enjoy their time at OÁSIS.

We, the OÁSIS team, are a small team and run OÁSIS on a personal basis. Its story began with a German couple who, more than 35 years ago, founded the CLCC – Centro de Línguas, Cultura e Comunicação – in Portimão, an organisation dedicated to language, culture and bringing people together.

OÁSIS grew from the idea of offering participants in the CLCC's weekly seminars a pleasant place to stay and spend time together. What began in connection with the CLCC gradually developed into the small Garden Village our guests know today.

Two seasons – two sides of OÁSIS

In summer, the Algarve shows its sunniest side: beaches, restaurants, boat trips and long days under the Portuguese sun.

In winter, things become quieter. It is an ideal time for longer stays, spending the winter in Portugal, remote work or simply enjoying the mild climate and the slower pace of life on the Algarve.

Summer is for holidays.
Winter is quality of life.

It is important to us that OÁSIS is more than simply a place to stay. We want our guests to feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they arrive – with enough space for peace and privacy, while also having the opportunity to meet other people.
